Drawing places I have visited can stir so many more memories than that of merely seeing a building or structure. This drawing is of San Xavier Mission (Mission San Xavier del Bac) – also known as the “White Dove of the Desert”, in Tucson, Arizona. We visited this beautiful church the same weekend my husband took me to Tucson to meet his parents for the first time.
